The archery master, hard at work

Ever since Mike got his new bow he's been putting a lot of effort into perfecting his setup and his skill. By the time hunting season rolls around he'll be an expert! I'm sure Mike and Dave G. will have many fun stories to tell this fall. (Dave also received a new bow, so he too is working on mastering his skill.) They have a lot of fun shooting together! Can't wait for some yummy elk meat to fill the freezer!

What a start to our vacation!

For those of you who didn't know, Mike, Logan and I recently took a vacation to LA to go see our good friends David & Megan. The trip went really well. We had a great time going to Seaworld, shopping, dining, golfing and just hanging out. It makes a person wish they could be on vacation all the time! Since we were flying out of Spokane, we decided to go over the night before and jump start our vacation. We were so glad we did. The pictures below were taken on the Idaho side of Lookout Pass, Idaho. That's a lot of snow! And when we woke up the next moring, there was 3 more inches on the ground. Trust me, we couldn't wait to get to LA! Enjoy the pix, we sure had a good time!

The snow was up to Mike's elbows!
